Come join TNC Wyoming and apply today!As part of the TNC Wyoming business unit and TNC's ecosystem-wide Sagebrush Sea Program, the WY Restoration Technician will engage in a variety of projects, including: seed technology research aiming to improve sagebrush establishment on restoration sites; improving the supply of native seeds and diversity of species available for restoration; and prioritizing and testing the effectiveness of invasive annual grass treatments. The WY Restoration Technician will be the primary person responsible for coordinating a variety of field and lab tasks as well as managing and analyzing data. They will work in a team and independently across several workstreams. Ultimately, they will play an important role in achieving our goals of accelerating the pace of restoration and proactive management to maintain diverse and functional sagebrush ecosystems that support Wyoming's wildlife and people. Specific responsibilities include: Organize and perform field and lab work, both supervised and unsupervised Collect, manage, and analyze experimental data Write scientific and grant reports summarizing methods, results and conclusionsWHAT YOU'LL BRINGBachelor's Degree in science related field and 1-year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
