Rockstar India is on the lookout for talented and passionate Workplace Technical Manager. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s unique game development studio in Bangalore, India.
WHAT WE DO The Rockstar Workplace Services Team (WPS) is responsible for ensuring the workplace, building, facilities, and services work harmoniously together to support the core business. We create a creative, supportive, and safe working environment for the staff at Rockstar. We manage and develop both hard and soft facilities services, including building maintenance, security, cleaning, catering, and space utilization and strategy. We ensure the site complies with all relevant guidance and legislation. We partner with senior leadership to drive proactive real estate growth strategies, leasehold improvement, and capital expenditure projects. RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational and overall responsibility for the building fabric and the mechanical and electrical services at Rockstar India. Develop and implement asset management systems including planned maintenance and repair programs for all company facilities, including buildings, equipment, and systems to minimize down time and ensure optimal performance. Overall contract management for building and facilities technical services including procurement process, budget management, contract negotiation, day-to-day operational oversite, and performance management against SLAs and KPIs. Manage and supervise a team of technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively. Manage every aspect of allocated building/maintenance projects, including building expansions, taking them from their identification through to completion, ensuring all deadlines are met with transparency of progress and communications to key stakeholders upheld. Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment is provided proactively for staff and visitors. Monitor and manage budget for maintenance and repairs, ensuring that expenditures are within budget and aligned with company goals. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address facility related issues and ensure that Workplace Services are aligned with business requirements. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations/legislations always related to facility maintenance and safety. Ensure the studio operation is uninterrupted, and there is resiliency in building services. Serve as main point of contact between the building/park owner and Rockstar India, to maintain the relationship and ensure any building-related issues have minimal impact on studio operations. Overall responsibility for the operation of the Building Management Systems, such as access control, CCTV, energy management systems, etc. QUALIFICATIONS Relevant degree, diploma, or other formal education relevant to the role, or trade qualified in a relevant electrical/mechanical or similar related field. 10+ year’s Operational Facilities Management experience in multinational having a well-rounded position. A thorough practical understanding of both Hard and Soft Service Facilities Management. SKILLS A detail oriented, flexible self-starter with strong initiative, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, Planning and project management skills with the ability to consider things from multiple angles. Process driven, but outcome focused, and always looking for quality improvement and ensuring they are documented accurately. Capable of working autonomously, managing, and prioritizing their own workload and understanding when and where to seek guidance and approval. Experience in an overlapping business support field, e.g., IT, Administration, Operations. Creative problem-solving skills. Enthusiasm and the ability to create a sense of fun whilst upholding standards. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Sound numerical skills and IT skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team or individually as required. Excellent documentation skills with high attention to detail. Experience with taking strategic projects from planning through to completion while simultaneously prioritizing operational support issues. Ability to handle high pressure situations.
