Works under supervision in the preparation, distribution of meals, in addition supports the sanitation functions in support of the assigned food service area.
Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies andprocedures.
Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery, and catering special events.
Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Reports to: Dietary supervisor
Minimum EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
