THE ROLE
Manage the successful and on-schedule completion of Workday conversion activities and deliverables throughout the project life cycleFocus on strategy, scope, risk, escalations, staffing and budgetEnsure adherence to Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) conversion methodology and best practicesTrain and mentor less experienced team membersEngage on multiple concurrent projects
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate client discussions on data requirements, conversion methodology and data validationAdhere to Alight Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) conversion methodology and best practices.Supervise team through execution of conversion deliverablesAnalyze risk and seek preventative measuresPerform research on conversion issues, identify root cause, and implement corrective measuresContribute to the enhancement and maintenance of internal conversion tools; recognize business process inefficiencies and recommends improvementsDemonstrate ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervisionDemonstrate ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-trainingAnswer all inquiries on a timely basisUnderstand priorities and request help and support when neededFollow through on tasks and commitments; demonstrate strong work ethic and set an example for othersExchange information with appropriate people to complete work and keep information confidential as neededTrain and mentor less experienced team membersCommunicate effectively with team members and clientsKeep Project Manager informed on project escalationsComplete all required Knowledge Bytes to maintain Workday certificationParticipate in internal training, Workday Wednesdays and other events that help share knowledge across the practice

REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in HRIS fieldKnowledge and experience with translating business requirements into system requirementsKnowledge and experience with databases, entity relationships, Alteryx, SQL and ProgrammingPrevious consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software companyExperience in data conversions for Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications preferredDemonstrated project management experienceWorkday HCM Certified
