  Position Role Type:

  OnsiteThis position will lead a team of technical resources though planning and execution of key product work transfers for Melbourne Operations thinking and acting strategically, fostering best practices. The role requires a transformational leader collaborating with all levels of the organization planning work transfer actions, developing process improvements, quickly resolving critical issues, and program execution.Responsibilities:

  Create and partner with project managers on plans, schedules, and budgets for projects.Leads a team that will manage the execution of actions of a sending or a receiving site of work transfer products. Conducts project meetings and prepares reports to effectively communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.Develops and coaches team members through development of integrated project plans and project execution.Creates an environment of a quality first culture.Acts as a primary contact with the Melbourne leadership to ensure CMS operations managers is effectively supporting and working on project actions with Value Stream Leadership. Capable of understanding technical information of basic electronic designs to assist team in solving work transfer technical challenges.Lead team through key work transfer activities such as Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), space/layout and facilities requirements, process equipment and tool identification and duplication, buffer strategies and the release of those buffers, cell training coordinationBasic Qualifications:

  Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience. U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

  Project management experience with cross function teamsExcellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project). Self-directed; strong planning and organizational skills and able adapt to changing priorities and assignments. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Utilizes lean principles, a driver of improvement. Good judgment and strong critical thinking skills. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
