Job Description
As a Word Processing Operator for one of the top law firms in the US, you will be supporting the largest grossing attorney in the firm. They sit in San Francisco in the SalesForce building 5x a week. The essential job duties are as follows:
Document Preparation: The operator formats, produces, and revises complicated documents such as lengthy technical and statistical reports from complex source information, including the retrieval of text and data from electronic files.
Quality Control: The operator exercises independent action when interpreting instructions to produce a quality document, understands proofreader marks, and assumes responsibility for document accuracy and completeness.
Advanced MS Word Skills: The operator should be comfortable with formatting large, multi-section documents with links and regularly use MS Word's advanced features.
Project Management: The operator must have a strong ability to juggle numerous projects at once and prioritize. They must be able to meet or exceed deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities: This role may also assist from time to time on other administrative tasks related to the practice, including assistance with time entries, document filing or preparing legal bills.
This position will be joining a small, exciting team that assists a heavy-volume corporate law practice.
Skills and Requirements
ob Specifications:
MS Word certification strongly preferred
Monday-Friday, in person
Legal industry experience preferred but not required
Secretarial experience a plus but not required null
