Job Description
The role of this position involves coordinating with Implementation Managers and IT project teams to develop an implementation plan. The candidate must clearly and concisely document and maintain project artifacts. They will work under the direction of a project lead, assisting in the configuration and creation of custom application solutions. The candidate will also complete and document unit testing and integration testing activities, as well as coordinate and document user acceptance testing activities. They will identify, define, and resolve minor issues during the implementation process, escalating complex issues to more senior team members. The candidate will utilize project management methodologies consistent with the standard framework and become a subject matter expert in at least one area within the department. They will train customer end-users on solution functionality and operational processes, seek to identify improvement opportunities for process, execution, delivery, and communication, learn new systems, processes, and tools quickly and thoroughly, and perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.
Skills and Requirements
BA/BS degree is strongly preferred; prior industry experience (Warehousing &Distribution, Supply Chain, or 3rd Party Logistics) is required.
4-6 years of hands-on experience within Supply Chain solutions design,
development, configuration, deployment, and/or Implementation of WMS
solutions across multiple warehouses is highly desired.
Experience with Manhattan WMOS
3-5 years experience implementing SDLC solutions in the supply chain vertical.
Advanced relational database knowledge is required; experience with SQL queries for data mining is preferred. null
