Your role
Would you like to help us enhance our client experience, now and for the future? Are you customer-centric focused with a good record of resolving enquiries? Do you use innovative approaches to identify and address client needs?
• oversee IRS Notices received which entails tracking progress, identifying next steps, preparing FA and client communications, and working with tax vendor to resolve issues with the IRS.
• identify accounts in scope each tax year that do not have an EIN and work with tax vendor to submit bulk EIN request through the IRS.
• run all new EINs through the IRS TIN match program to identify any discrepancies between UBS and IRS records and work to remediate these items.
• support the UBTI team in running annual filing process including: reconciliation of account activity to IRS Schedule K-1s, validating client information that appears on Form 990-T to UBS records, confirming accounts are debited and payment is remitted to the IRS
• execute the processes and controls you are responsible for in a timely, accurate and compete manner
