PAY: $18.30 WITH OVERTIME ELIGIBILITY
LOCATION: 90% Mount Olivet, 10% St. Simeon

THE POSITION: The seasonal groundskeeper reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with the Irrigation Superintendent to efficiently manage the grounds services provided by the Cemeteries and Mortuaries during the spring through fall seasons as needed. The seasonal groundskeeper performs all grounds keeping and maintenance matters on the properties. The duties of the groundskeeper must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures and in doing so uphold the social teachings of the Catholic Church (the Church).
General groundskeeper may be shared between two cemetery facilities, Mt Olivet in Wheat Ridge and Saint Simeon in Aurora
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Must be motivated for cross training of all facility groundskeeping
Ditch and general grounds cleaning
Review monument installation as requested
Observe safety rules and ensure compliance with the operating procedures of corporate, federal, state and local regulations, including OSHA regulations
Work order completion
Identify equipment needs for each assigned project
Help identify grounds and visitor needs and concerns and notify a supervisor as soon as possible and distribute prayer cards to guests
Set up for services
Verify gravesites
Operate lowering device at gravesite
Maintain vases and stones
Schedule dump truck to fill gravesite
Be able to collaborate with the 3rd party landscaping company designated onsite
Ability to recognize sensitive information and adhere to strict confidentiality
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Valid driver license REQUIRED.
