Main Responsibilities:
Managing Warehouse Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods and materials.
Supervising Warehouse Staff: Directly supervising and coordinating the work activities of warehouse personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Ensuring Order Accuracy: Maintaining high standards for order accuracy, inventory control, and proper documentation of all warehouse transactions.
Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and implementing systems to optimize inventory accuracy and turnover.
Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, condition, and proper handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and cost reduction within the warehouse.
Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and service of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and storage racks, to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of warehouse activities, preparing reports on key performance metrics, and communicating relevant information to management.
