Now Hiring! Welder Fabricators ($22-24hr)
Description:
Welder Fabricators must be capable of taking blueprints along with other data, such as work plans, to develop and design their welding projects. Fabrication of metal objects involves laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring and welding metals to create the desired shape or object. Welders will use the fab equipment to shape, size and form their own materials. They will also do a lot of core bit drilling, use mag drill, punches, grinding. This is not a production welding position. This is a full build position. This is highly detailed work and requires the Welder Fabricator to constantly inspect and test welds and equipment. Welds are checked for durability as well as meeting specified standards and equipment must be examined to determine if repairs or new equipment is needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must Haves:
1+ year MIG Welding experience
1+ year Blue Print Experience
Ability to read a tape measure
Experience with Laser or Brake Press is a plus.
