Description:
Welders will be welding and building structural components for grain bins, catwalks, stairways, handrails and support structures.
•Welders produce and assemble steel structures and equipment
•Essential Job Functions & Expected Outcomes: Your Accountabilities in the Role
•Assembly, gathering, and welding of steel material
•Ability to understand and complete work reading blueprints
•Operate hand tools such as grinders, drills, impacts
•Ability to operate overhead crane/unloading of raw material
•Performance of 5S duties, record keeping of scrap, housekeeping, and trash removal from work cell
•The job criteria may include other duties, responsibilities, and activities, which may change or be assigned at any item with or without notice
•Culture Match Behaviors: Has a “Can Do” attitude willing to help ensure orders are properly assembled to deliver product on-time, complete, and error free
•Working around fork trucks and other moving equipment
Skills:
Welding, fabrication, blueprint, MIG, structural welding
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
•Education: High school degree or GED required
•Ability to pass weld test: 2G Single Bevel Groove on a 1” plate required
•Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
•Ability to read tape measure to ensure accuracy
