　　As a Web Content Manager...

　　Produce and manage internal and external communications and web content for two audiences:Internal communications aimed at engaging APL staff members in the organization 's strategic vision, mission and valuesExternal communications in line with APL's strategic vision, mission, values and brand standards. Content will focus on the important research, discoveries and critical contributions of APL staff members and the Lab's programs to challenges facing the nationWork with our internal and external communications program managers, the Public Affairs section and the Digital Media section to review, produce and manage content and taskingRegularly contribute to our internal and external websites and possibly occasionally contribute to our regular internal staff newsletterFollow and uphold editorial guidelinesParticipate in campaigns and rollouts for various APL-wide and organization-specific initiativesWork with other departments to ensure consistency in messaging to staff and external audiencesQualifications

　　You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

　　Have a Bachelor 's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field2+ years of relevant experienceHave strong writing and communication skills, including experience curating and writing web content for internal and external platformsHave an ability to work in a dynamic environment as an agile member of a teamPossess a strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through Have ability to work on deadline, set priorities, and work independentlyHave strong verbal communication skills with an ability to present ideas coherently and persuasivelyAre able to obtain Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship
