The Role
We offer an exciting new opportunity as Business Unit Manager with the responsibility of leading and developing our KAM team across the Nordics. You will lead a team of 6 Key Account Managers, 4 KAM assistants and 3 student assistants located in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. You will report to the Commercial Director.
Your high energy level and strong analytical skills enable you to analyze performance and quickly implement action plans, when and wherever needed. You collaborate across the Nordic organization with our National Sales Managers and Brand Managers as well as with Key stakeholders at our Retail Partners. You are visible and lead by example, and you thrive on spending time with your team. You make sure to understand the drivers of our business and our competitors, and you utilize the KPIs of Key Account Management and coach your direct reports to do so, too. In addition, you are a strong Key Account Manager yourself as you will have Key Account responsibility for your own retailers.
Your Key Responsibilities
More specifically, you will:
Manage monthly Net Sales landing and estimate process from commercial side, including all financial Gross 2 Net aspects. Lead and support Nordic KAM team, including cross-boarder management, in developing strong trade plans by retailer. Support in building the commercial retailer strategy across countries, channels and brand portfolio Lead projects on internal processes and workflows affecting KAM team. Handle 1-2 smaller retailers as direct Key Account Manager. Key KPIs will be Net Sales, Gross2Net targets and Retailer NPS scores. Build strong partnerships with our retailers
Qualifications
Your Qualifications
Solid Key Account Manager experience, minimum 8 years: proven ability to set, drive and reach monthly net sales targets, documented result within negotiation and developing and executing trade plans. Proven management experience: ability to define and align on strategy, motivate and engage team, maintain professional leadership under pressure. Strong Sales experience: commercial background, preferable including experience with prestige brands and consumer goods. Beauty industry experience not a pre-requisite. Experience in managing complexity including both multiple brands, channels and countries. Experience in Project Management: able to define needs, and drive processes to improve ways of working across a large matrix organization. Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent knowledge of Excel and BI Systems
