The Business Development Representative (BDR) is an entry level, non-commissioned sales role that is designed to attract sales professionals who are new to healthcare. This role will have strong mentor support from senior leaders, namely the Director. Additionally, each BDR will work closely with five Enterprise Sales Executives and will receive coaching and feedback. This role is designed to develop new sales talent for WaveMark, with the goal of promoting these individuals into a commission-based sales role accountable for their own predetermined list of customers in a specific territory. Focus areas will include driving new business for WaveMark as well as increasing customer retention in existing accounts.
On average, theBusiness Development Representative willallocate their time to the following on a weekly basis.

Meeting/collaborating with Sales Principals, Marketing, etc.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.Track and demonstrate sales activity, sales funnel management, prospecting, and account growth within Salesforce.com.Maintain a high focus on lead generation for WaveMark within the Region.Effectively articulate the WaveMark™ value proposition to potential clients.Act as a liaison between Marketing and Sales teams
Report to the Director of Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) basis to report KPI performance
Stay up to date with industry trends, IDN activity and healthcare executive movementsFocus on leads within acute/IDN Procedural Areas with high focus on the Cardiac Cath, EP, IR Labs and Operating RoomKeep the needs of customers as a top priority.Handle “rejection” with confidence, continuously work stale leads.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferredPrior experience in customer service support, account consulting, business development or sales preferredExperience with a SAAS offering in healthcare space strongly preferred.Previous experience in Business Development or sales strongly preferred.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong time-management skills and flexibility.Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a sales team.Able to leverage healthcare expertise to advise customers how to implement new technology into their environment.Highly organized while also possessing strong project management skills.Highly collaborative, able to navigate cultural and differing perspectives across multiple functions.Systems preferred experience: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesForce.com CRM, MS Excel.Anticipated salary range: $73,300 - $91,000
