A Typical Day
The primary responsibilities of the Water Reclamation Operator is toensure the efficient operation of the WR plant processes with theoverall goal of meeting our regulatory discharge permit limits.
Job Responsibilities
Understand and operate anaerobic digesters, Zenon UF systems, CM500 MVRevaporator and aerobic digesters.
Ensure set points are met or that a supervisor is informed of changesmade to control set points.
Maintain accurate and complete paperwork at all times.
Responsible for the CIP of equipment and the up keep of equipment andsurrounding areas.
Responsible for monitoring assigned equipment, make changes to improveefficiency/operation and report any problems or issues with equipment tomanagement.
Perform hourly checks on equipment.
Must be able to learn and perform minor lab tasks
Ability to learn and operate Wonderware/SCADA type controls.
Place high priority on food safety and sanitation by understanding andexecuting HCCs food safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Thisincludes communicating any food safety incident, observation, oropportunity to your leadership team or teammates as well asparticipating in food safety and sanitation root cause analysis andimprovement activities when required.
Prioritize safety above all other job duties by having a safety firstapproach at all times. This includes reporting any safety issues,observations, opportunities to your teams and follow up.
What You Will Need
English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speakEnglish
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends,holidays and overtime as needed
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
What Will Put You Ahead
High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Water treatment/distribution experience
Background or coursework in biology/chemistry
