About Warehouse Team Member II - Yukon, OK

  Title:

  Warehouse Team Member II

  General Purpose:

  Oversees, activities in the Central Warehouse related to shipping, receiving, storing, supplies and dispatch of materials to ensure effective and efficient operations and material transportation.

  The Warehouse Team Member II is highly knowledgeable in receiving, shipping, warehousing, and inventory operations. They are responsible to physically and systematically processing inventory and accurately supporting internal customers.

  Responsibilities:

  Depending on the assigned department, employee may be required to perform tasks in the shipping, receiving, inventory, small or large tools operations. Responsible for adhering to all processes with little to no supervision.Communicate to leadership and internal stakeholders when deviation of the standard process occurs and propose solution to correct the process.Safely load, transfer, and unload palletized and non-palletized materials using assigned equipment.Perform basic transactions in SAP as well as troubleshoot and resolve common errors in SAP to maintain accurate and timely inventory data.Internally certified to inspect rigging materials.Guide and coach peers and new hires on standard processes within assigned work areaOther responsibilities as assigned.

  Essential Functions:

  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Ability to climb stairs or ladders and work off of step stools and ladders.Weight restriction: Able to Lift/push/pull/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.Ability to frequently walk, stand, look up/down, balance, stoop, twist, kneel, and bendAbility to constantly grip and manually manipulate, often with repetitive motion, items such as, but not limited to, hand tools and turbine parts Must be able to see and hear alarms, timers and follow verbal instructions. In some cases, color differentiation may be requiredAbility to adapt to a changing environment, consistently demonstrating Vestas Core ValuesSupport and participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts.Able to safely operate all equipment according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.Regular & reliable attendance in adherence to the outline attendance policySet a good example of personal integrity.Ability to learn and interpret the instructions and translate that in to work.Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team.

  Education, Training, and Skills Required:

  1 year of experience in working in general warehouse, distribution centre, or production environmentHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredWorking knowledge of stock control, inventory management practices and procedures preferredExperience in operating a forklift and reach truck preferred.Experience working within SAP preferred.Strong attention to detail & ability to follow directions with precise execution.Ability to read, interpret & understand basic drawings & schematics a plusAbility to read, interpret process documents.Basic computer literacyBeginner level understanding of Microsoft office preferred
