What’s a typical day as a Team Lead? You’ll be:
• Leading all team members and activities in the warehouse.
• Adhering to customer requirements related to all warehouse processes.
• Participating in 8D report preparation, when required.
• Applying continuous improvement assessments throughout the warehouse.
• Enforcing all Company policies and procedures.
• Enforcing cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse.
• Analyzing and recommending operational and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensuring all product is correctly located physically and in WMS.
• Analyzing, evaluating, and advising on inventory discrepancies.
• Ensuring proper training is provided to warehouse personnel.
• Utilizing KPI trends for operational improvements.
• Providing support, orientation, and feedback to assigned personnel.
• Ensuring all warehouse paperwork is processed correctly for QOS data entry.
• Maintaining work equipment in good order.
• Assisting with cycle counts and receiving order discrepancies.
• Red tagging quarantine material in a timely manner to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Willingness to work in both production cells and on the receiving dock as needed.
• Communicating any part shortages to management immediately.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have the ability to lead and train team members.
• Can visually inspect product according to documented processes for potential damage or defect.
• Can comply with ESD procedures and processes.
• Have warehousing knowledge.
• Have a High School Diploma.
• Are bi-lingual (English/Spanish is a plus).
• Have a forklift operating license or willingness to learn.
• Are computer literate with basic inventory control system and Microsoft products.
• Have a Safety Certification (CPR) or are willing to obtain one.
