  We are seeking to hire an Operator I to join our Warehouse Team…

  JOB SUMMARY

  The Warehouse Operator I reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. The essential job function is to provide proper warehouse management assistance in handling materials, work in-process, finished products, and other miscellaneous items.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Prepares finished product for shipment to customer to include pulling and matching outgoing orders, inspecting and labeling finished drums, recording seal numbers, and preparing shipping documents.

  Receive incoming raw materials to include unloading drums, labelling, and verifying materials, inspecting, following hazardous material procedures, and entering receipts into AX.

  Responsible for sampling and labeling of incoming raw materials.

  Operates lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping/receiving platform to storage or work area.

  Demonstrate the ability to perform transactions using a scan gun for proper inventory control and management.

  Ability to perform basic tasks within the site’s ERP system and WHMS.

  Responsible for performing daily inspection of lift truck or motorized equipment.

  Properly handle the storage, inventory, and shipment of Controlled Substances in accordance with DEA regulations.

  Prepares, handles and labels various hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for disposal.

  Maintains proper warehouse orderliness, cleanliness, and safety.

  Process incoming/outgoing USPS mail and small parcel packages (UPS, Federal Express, DGL, etc.).

  May be required to pull and sample incoming raw materials with minimal supervision.

  May be required to offload and receive raw materials delivered by means of tanker transport with minimal supervision.

  Follows all job-related instructions and performs all job-related tasks as assigned, in accordance will all SOP’s.

  Works effectively under deadlines.

  Participates in the development and implementation of methods, procedures, and regulations necessary for the smooth operation of the business.

  Respect policies, procedures, and regulations in force in the company.

  Completes assigned tasks in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness.

  Upholds Company policies, including the Professional Conduct Policy and Prohibition Against Harassment Policy, and the Business Ethics and Conduct Code

  Acts as the company’s representative by showing respect and being ambassador for the established beliefs and behaviors of the Company.

  Works in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public.

  Works effectively under deadlines.

  Perform other tasks as required.

  Requirements

  High School diploma or equivalency.

  0-2 years material handling experience.

  Forklift experience a plus.

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  Stand, walk, push, pull, twist, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.

  Occasionally move items or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds – potential to handle heavier materials with mechanical assistance.

  Occasionally required to climb ladders and/or steps to reach equipment.

  Reading precision measuring equipment, machine dials, gages, and thermometers; must be able to observe fine details utilizing a microscope.
