Job Description

Schedule: 7 am to 330 pm
Description:
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience High School Diplomaor equivalent required
Computer skills required, to include warehouse management systemsexperience. Material Handling Experience required Minimum of 3: Stand UpDock Truck, Order/Stock Picker, Sit down Forklift, Tugger/Cart, WalkieRider, or any equivalent At least 1 year experience working in ahigh-volume distribution center or large retail operation
Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pacedenvironment
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Career ReadinessCertificate (CRC) preferred Knowledge of SAP and/or PKMS WarehouseManagement System preferred. 2-3 years of direct operations experience
Responsibilities Must be able to maintain forklift certification Supporttasks such as Picking, Packing/Auditing, Loading, Replenishment, CycleCounting, and Receiving/Put away functions Ability to maintain apositive attitude and team focus Interacts with Supervisor,Coordinators, Inbound, Inventory control, and Outbound staff toreconcile open issues Other duties as assigned
Communication Openly and actively, communicate internally through therespective Dept., and externally with every other department
Ensure communication occurs with all peers in a polite and professionalmanner Report all equipment, order, location, inventory, or processissues to the designated team member
If in doubt, talk to your lead, supervisor, coordinator, or all of theabove as needed. Follow the open door policy, informing your chain ofcommand with your issue, and if unhappy with the answer presented,request a conversation at the next level. Directly responsible forensuring a clean and clear work area for teammates to fully performtheir job duties and our expectations. Actively provide feedback toleads, trainers, supervisors and managers on all daily incidents, goodand bad
Productivity Monitor your work performance, to develop sense of pride inyour work and sense of urgency. Actively provide feedback to leads,supervisors and managers on all daily incidents, good and bad. Becomeauthority on key metrics and how they are derived, and ensure youunderstand how you will be measured. Be clear and concise ondirection(s) given and follow-up.
