Description
An EWASTE+ Sort Technician is a valuable member of our electronic recycling operations. They are responsible for organizing incoming electronic equipment into categories for either proper disposal or value material to be tested for resale.
Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm = No Nights/NoWeekends!
40 hours guarenteed!
Duties include:
• Sorting through and organizing mixed electronics into like categories
• Taking a count and weight of certain materials and recording the information accurately
• Working together safely with others in a team based environment
• Movement and storage of materials
• Recording information accurately
• Shrink-wrapping, labeling and banding skids of processed materials
• Abide by all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the company
• Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
• Other miscellaneous warehousing tasks may be required
Pay Range $17-$19
Position Requirements
Physical requirements: Lifting 40 pound objects frequently, climbing ladders, pushing and pulling equipment using a pallet jacks, walking and bending. Forklift experience and a background of manufacturing is a plus.
