Stand up forklift experience required
The Warehouse Assistant I is responsible for understanding and effectively demonstrating the ability to execute the proper storage of materials, material movement and housekeeping. In addition to the base responsibilities of a Warehouse Assistant I, the employee is required to specialize in one of the two specialty roles: 1) Production Support. 2) Shipping and Receiving.
• Safely and professionally operate Stand Up reach and Sit Down forklifts
• Perform daily forklift check
• Operate scan gun for various tasks - pulling fulls, pulls grocery lists and supplies
• Operate computer system to locate ingredients and supplies
• Affix pallet placard for fulls and store. Perform shipping and receiving.
• Effectively communicate with production management and weigh up
• Locate correct lot of material with scan gun
• Flip and wrap finished goods. Load and unload trucks
• Affix SU tag - confirm lot and quantity
• Alert management if any discrepancy prior to affixing SU tag
• Perform inventory and cycle counts

Must be detail orientated and able to read lot numbers.
Ability to follow direction and work with S.O.P.’s.
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel with the utmost professionalism.
Ability to work with amino acids, vitamins and fine chemicals in powder and liquid form.
Ability to work with allergen products.
Must be able to work in team environment and possess team-based problem solving skills.
Must be results focused and oriented toward accomplishment of team goals
Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends when needed.
Ability to stay positive and calm in difficult and/or trying circumstances.
Ability to work in fast paced deadline orientated environment
Experience and ability to be certified to operate a forklift and a motorized pallet jack.
Ability to handle multiple, rapidly changing and conflicting priorities.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive at all times.
Computer literate
