Are you an experienced VP of Finance looking to make a difference? We're looking for a leader to join a global multibillion-dollar company and head up the FP&A functions, supporting the CFO of the Labcorp Diagnostics segment, in delivering profitable growth for one of the largest operating divisions with revenue over $1.5B. The successful candidate will be a key strategic financial business partner to the Head of the Division. Evaluate, prepare, and support all M&A activities and lead the financial integration of all acquired businesses into the division. Develop a high-performance culture within the divisional leadership team while building a strong financial team delivering the highest level of financial analysis and KPIs. Ensure consolidated financial performance information is accurate and timely, considering the risk levels within the forecast with options to mitigate as appropriate. Lead the long-term financial strategy with a focus on driving value and strategic management of funding across all areas of divisional activity including effectively allocating company resources and ensure compliance to all company policies and divisional lead for annual internal & external audits. Business Partner/Financial Leader
Reports to the CFO for the Labcorp Diagnostics segment ($9B in revenue) and functions as business partner and decision support to the SVP of the Southeast America Division (~$1.5B in revenue).Financial leader of the business and member of the Division's operating committee (leadership team).Leads and manages the Divisional finance, contracts, pricing, and leasing teams.Partners with the Divisional Senior Vice President and Sales Leadership to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.Ensures that the Division allocates resources effectively with rigorous pressure on costs and a commitment to value creation.Utilizes key metrics to guide leadership team decisions. Develops and utilizes various tools to provide status of metrics and highlight actions and levers required to improve profitability.Builds and develops a high performance team with bench strength and multiple succession candidates.Leads development of a high performance culture.
Strategic Planning/M&A
Prepares and presents relevant information for strategic planning and long range forecasting sessions and actively participates to ensure alignment with the Company's vision and goals.Supports all Division M&A activity and leads the development of financial proformas and synergy plans.Coordinates the integration of acquired businesses into the LabCorp suite of processes, systems, and policies.Serves as a subject matter expert to engage with key customers, lead the development of business cases and support the negotiation of essential financial terms for new business opportunities.
Finance Management, Control and Advisory
Ensures Division consolidated financial performance information is accurate and timely.Understands and challenges the financial position of each business area (e.g. Division sub-regions), holding budget owners accountable for their performance and supporting the management teams in required analysis.Provides bridges and variance reporting (e.g. actual vs. budget, forecast and prior year) to Segment, Division and Corporate leadership.Interprets variations in product and price mix while providing actionable insights to address issues or capitalize on growth opportunities.Leads the intervention, investigation and resolution of in-year and short-term financial issues.Ensures effective use of capital by utilizing appropriate governance, risk management, financial performance measurement and post-investment reviews. Approves all capital and lease requests.
Analysis, Budget and Forecast
Delivers the annual divisional budget with appropriate waterfall bridges, key year over year metrics and analysis of market trends.Ensures accurate monthly forecasts based on relevant and timely business information.
Controls and Compliance
Supports solid cost management behavior in the business, promoting financial disciplines and risk management processes.Advises the business on ways of assuming greater degrees of financial accountability.Ensures that Corporate and internal policies are followed.Supports Internal Audit engagements. Evaluations all findings, prepares action plans and ensures timely execution.Approves and monitors Division travel and vendor related expenses.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial managementMBA, CPA, CMA preferredExperience as a CFO, Controller or Division Financial Leader of a division or company with minimum revenue of $1+ BillionStrong understanding of the healthcare market including managed care (insurer), provider, health system and patient relationshipsLocal market experience and exposure to delegated risk arrangements, preferred.Demonstrated success in working in matrixed environment.M & A ExperienceStrategic thinker who can lift insights form the core data and use those insights to influence the team.

Pay Range: 175,000-250,000
