Overview & Responsibilities
Data plays a central role at Paramount Streaming, and as part of the Data & Insights Group (DIG), our Measurement Operations (MOPS) team plays a crucial part in the success of our streaming products. It drives business, product, and operational decisions by providing rich data, strategic insights and analytical products. We are looking for a Vice President of Measurement Quality Assurance for Paramount Streaming who is passionate about QA, data, and entertainment, and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Manage a team of QA Engineering people leaders responsible for validation of analytics data collection across multiple platforms collection via production engineering processes
Create and maintain accountability and transparency with analytics data stakeholders
Develop and adhere to OKRs around data quality
Oversee team responsible for growth and adoption of automated QA tools and frameworks
Lead support to escalate and triage data quality issues across the streaming organization while keeping business stakeholders informed with resolution plans, root cause analyses and impact
Serve as a subject-matter-expert and delegator for analytics QA engineering people leaders
Operate with a strong results orientation emphasizing the importance of efficiency and productivity and prioritizing the highest-value work on the team
Oversee the enablement of trustworthy data used to generate insights and decisions around our content, products and audiences
Own the analytics QA roadmap while ensuring high quality QA engineering processes and scalability across all practices
Lead the creation of team workflows and processes necessary to meet timelines without sacrificing quality
Foster collaboration, engagement, and performance both within Measurement Operations and with our internal partners and external vendors
Establish a vision and lead the growth and evolution of our QA capabilities and services
Develop the tools, reporting and infrastructure for an outstanding quality assurance program
Build an innovative and disciplined team culture that builds trust, encourages collaborations, maintains strong accountability, delivers results, increases employee engagement, and has fun
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technical or quantitative oriented field
12+ years of experience in QA, analytics, management consulting, business operations, or other relevant field.
8+ years of experience managing a team; a track record of managerial expertise in growing & developing high-functioning teams.
In-depth knowledge of analytics data and best practices with ability to communicate the impact of defects
Excellent communication skills for both horizontal and vertical organizational lines
Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Experience in mentorship with providing education to less senior team members.
Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and ability to tailor them to a specific situation.
Ability to objectively assess performance of direct reports.
Ability to make effective hiring decisions that add value to the team.
Experience managing vendor and facility contracts
Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements
Experience leading technology architecture for data assets across multiple sites and internal/external resources.
Ability to make decisions in QA tooling selection and implementation approach based on long-term strategic objectives, while taking into consideration short-term implications for ongoing or planned implementations
In-depth knowledge of software development technology, principles, methods, tools, and practices and industry standards and trends
Demonstrated ability to work with leaders and peers to evaluate new ideas, discuss business and product concepts, implement new features and systems, and make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks.
Experience with rapid scaling of quality assurance teams by hiring and retaining exceptional talent
Demonstrated experience of promoting culture and diversity throughout an organization to achieve transformational change
Track record of success in building and scaling a QA team.
Executive experience with vision, credibility, leadership skills and charisma
Proven ability to grow and lead a department is a must
Additional Qualifications

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $176,800.00 - 250,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
