Job Summary/Objective
The Vice President and General Manager will lead the development of a strategy and its execution for the business unit, with key focus on winning market share and the development of new markets to accelerate profitable growth across all its platforms, while bringing a high level of focus on innovation to expand differentiated products, solutions and services that will increase customer affinity and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Full P&L responsibilities for their respective business unit.
• Establish and execute manufacturing structure to support the growth expectations set through the strategy.
• Ensure the highest standards of product quality are achieved and constantly improved upon.
• Establish, monitor, and achieve performance criteria, targets, budgets and KPIs (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly & daily).
• Set and manage standards for all functions to ensure coordinated efforts to achieve optimum results
• Continue to drive operational improvements to enhance production effectiveness and optimize the use of limited resources.
• Develop capacity planning strategies and CAPEX requirements to support ongoing revenue attainment and company growth.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent vendor/supplier relationships.
• Plan, structure and adequately resource the team to meet business requirements.
• Develop and manage relationships with customers and key external audiences.
Skills & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline is required. MBA/ Master's degree desirable.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience with proven track record of success in leading industry large functional and/or business level organizations.
• Must have prior leadership experience, including the ability to recruit, develop, and retain a strong leadership team that will maximize team performance and accelerate their professional growth
• Ability and passion to drive an international, complex, high-tech organization
• Effectively communicate the expectation levels and vision of the organization in a way to motivate and encourage staff to achieve high performance and generate growth
• Ability to establish and maintain a strong network of customers, local industrial partners and other relevant sources of information and influence
• Visionary, driven, innovative and takes initiative without being asked
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong leadership skills
• Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively in a team setting
• Act as a role model according to our values
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
