This individual has a fullunderstanding of all our community needs and industry; marketing andutilizes trends and competitor knowledge to be able to brand ourservices.. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction forand ensure the development and progress of G?ndara\'s fund developmentplan in collaboration with the CEO and Board of Directors, whileensuring alignment with G?ndara\'s strategic plan; Increases donorcontribution based on established target areas by utilizing donordevelopment strategies; Develop and manage all solicitation effortsincluding annual appeals, donor targeting, event planning, major andplanned giving, endowed giving and bequests with a focus on increasingsustainable unrestricted, private revenue; Secures Community businessresources and support; Participates in Community and Stakeholderscommittees; Keeps up to date on current fundraising programs, practicesand procedures used in the nonprofit sector and informs the CEO of itemsthat would benefit G?ndara Leads the design of agency annual reportServes as staff liaison with CEO to the Development Committee Partnerwith the CEO as appropriate on solicitation calls, meetings, etc. Whenappropriate, personally conduct major gift solicitations; Work with theCEO to ensure board members are engaged and energized by theirassociation with organization; Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 8-10years of demonstrated experience in a development department of anonprofit with a demonstrated commitment to gender, racial, social andeconomic justice. Experience with staff and board management, engagementand development. Demonstrated fundraising success from a variety offundraising streams. Demonstrated success in developing and implementingeffective fundraising strategies. Proven track record of meeting annualorganizational fund development goals. Proven track record of developingsuccessful partnerships with other companies and organizations. Donorcommunications experience. Creative, independent, and strategic thinkerStrong strategic planning and project and budget management skillsSelf-starter with a proven ability to meet and complete multiple taskswith solid deadlines Marketing and Communication experience
