  PGIM Fixed Income, a division of PGIM Inc., an SEC-registered investment adviser, and Commodity Trade Adviser and a business unit of Prudential Financial, is seeking a senior compliance professional with expertise in Core and Marketing Compliance to assist its Chief Compliance Officer in leading all aspects of a full range of investment advisory matters that arise in connection with our Fixed Income asset management activities. PGIM Fixed Income has approximately $776 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2023, with a broad array of fixed income strategies and client types including institutional separate accounts, sub-advised mutual funds, CLOs, offshore and onshore commingled and separate client accounts.

  PGIM Fixed Income has a strong commitment to its customers, including mutual fund investors, corporations, public retirement funds, Taft-Hartley plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, foundations, and endowments. Qualified candidates will be expected to be thoroughly knowledgeable about Forms ADV and P, mitigating conflicts of interest, AML and Financial Crimes Compliance, regulatory filings, regulatory changes and internal and external audits and examinations. The scope and responsibilities of this role will not be static. As the business needs and compliance objectives change, the responsibilities of the position are expected to evolve to meet the changing regulatory landscape. The candidate will report to the Chief Compliance Officer of PGIM Fixed Income.

  The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

  What you can expect:

  Lead a team within Fixed Income Compliance; collaborate with team leads within Fixed Income Compliance globallyParticipate in new product development, marketing and product launchesManage NFA and SEC regulatory filings (including Forms ADV and PF) and annual 206(4)-7 reviewAdvise on Custody issues and AML/Financial CrimesPartner with the business to draft and implement new Fixed Income policies, procedures, and processes including core compliance policiesWork with CCO to manage internal and regulatory audits for Fixed Income investment adviserAdvise the Fixed Income business on regulatory compliance issues relating to Fixed Income fund investment and product development, including private funds

  What you'll need:

  10+ years of substantive compliance experience, with demonstrated expertise in Core Compliance and the marketing, sale and public and private distribution of Fixed Income strategies and productsSubstantial experience with complex regulatory filings and communications for an investment advisorAdvanced knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, the Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934Bachelor's degree required

  Confident self-starter with proven ability to handle conflicting priorities with varying deadlinesSenior level communication skills related to Fixed Income regulation, products, issues and strategiesExperienced with rules, regulations, and policy issues of the SEC, FINRA, CFTC and NFA and FINRA relating to marketing Fixed Income Investment Management and productsInsurance or trust bank experience

  Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $175,500.00 to $237,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
