Role Overview
Turbo Tax serves over 48M consumers and businesses with a full range of tax solutions from Do-It-Yourself to Full-Service. Our ambition is to deliver double-digit revenue growth through the vision of "Getting Taxes Done for Everyone," with our greatest source of growth coming from acquiring consumers and business owners from the Assisted Tax segment with our powerful line of products and services.
To continue our success we have to stay ahead of the curve on business model innovation, deliver rigorous performance management and business decision-making for $4B+ in revenue, bring market, customer and competitive insights to the forefront of our strategy, while continuing to hone our segmentation approach to ensure we have a durable model for acquisition and retention growth. These are the core responsibilities for the VP of Customer & Business Strategy..The ideal candidate will operate at a high level of intellectual curiosity, exhibit superior analytical skills, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and bring a proven ability to work with and lead teams to deliver business result outcomes. They will have the maturity, confidence, intellectual strength, and real world experience to lead and inspire a team of smart and driven professionals. This candidate must have a passion for understanding the customers we serve.
The role will manage six sub-capabilities: Business performance management and decision-making, product line-up and business model innovation, competitive strategies, customer acquisition and retention strategy, external partnerships, and research. They will be responsible for leading horizontally across the organization to create and deliver a truly integrated E2E business plan, accounting for the respective roles of each capability in achieving the Consumer Tax Group 1 & 3 year commitments and for setting long-term direction for our customer and business model strategies.
This role requires a seasoned leader who can balance; units vs. revenue, short vs. long, and traditional vs. emerging channels.

10-15+ years of relevant business delivery and strategy experience; with at least 4+ years of experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or consumer growth company; industry experience preferredPassion to win: Driving high standards for individual, team, and organizational accomplishment.
