This exciting and new role as a Visual Media Editor III you will create video and image-based assets to support division marketing initiatives across channels including web, print, email, digital, content marketing, social media, and presentations for internal & external audiences. Candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills; must work well under pressure, within a team environment andhave the ability to thinkoutside-the-box when it comes to creating graphics, animations, videos and other assets.
This position serves the Friedrich Division and is located in San Antonio, TX. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to come into the office roughly 3 days/week. You must reside in a commutable distance to our San Antonio office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Utilize industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to edit and arrange raw footage into polished and cohesive videos, incorporating audio, visual effects, music, and graphics where necessary. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and effectively convey the intended message through storytelling techniques in the final video output. Transform diverse types of content, such as interviews, event coverage, product demos, and animations, into captivating video pieces that maintain consistency with the organization's branding and style guidelines.
• Works collaboratively with members of our Marketing, Product Management, and Sales organizations.
• Organize and manage video files, ensuring proper storage, version control, and backup procedures are followed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in video editing techniques, software, and industry best practices. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
WHAT YOU NEED:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, graphic design or training related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in video production, strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in editing and graphics.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Excellent time management with demonstrated ability to work well under deadlines. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, business analytics, project management skills, and ability to lay down a vision and execute to it. Ability to learn technical information quickly and interpret it to deliver a simple, concise message.
