Job Description Visa Commercial Solutions (“VCS”) is focused on providing solutions from large enterprises to small businesses to help drive efficiencies for their organizations and effective money movement. The business is a key pillar of growth for the Visa and the Japan market.
The individual will work in Visa Commercial Solutions Team in Japan and support clients and business partners running product portfolio to execute on the strategy and drive key initiatives to grow the business.
Major responsibility is to manage localization of products to be matched with business requirements and its implementation collaborating with internal/external stakeholders.
What a Visa Commercial Solutions Senior Manager – Product Solution does at Visa:
Visa is looking for a dedicated product specialist to join our Commercial Solutions team in Japan and be responsible for driving the P/L, business growth, solution innovation, portfolio deepening and new client adoption across both Small Businesses and Large Market segments.
As a natural collaborator, you will develop a network of key cross functional stakeholders including various product and client-facing (such as Client Relationship Management, Merchant Sales & Acquisition, Client Support, and Visa Consulting & Analytics) teams, and work directly with clients and implementation partners to expand the usage of Visa’s Commercial Capabilities. Supporting business development activities, project management, helping shape engagements - including and not limited to the following: assess customer business needs and identify applicable functional capabilities required, helping them add various capabilities to achieve success aligned with trends and opportunities. Work with product owners to identify clients needs and growth opportunities leveraging Visa’s solution and capabilities.
Requirements:
Develop and own product expertise over time to proactively advocate, as a subject matter expert to clients, end users, partners and internal stakeholders
Plan, build and execute business plans across both Small Business and Large Market segments to meet Visa Commercial Solution, Japan’s budget
Drive client decision making through production of tailored presentations and client analysis
Identify clients’ needs and growth opportunities leveraging Visa’s solution and capabilities, and subsequently translate client’s requirements to system requirements and vice versa
Manages end-to-end project for product implementation which requires timeline & task identification, coordination with concerned stakeholders such as clients and Client Services team
Effectively navigate problem solving opportunities which vary widely in nature
Identify opportunities for client performance optimization of products and services, which includes collaborating with internal cross-functional teams such as Client Relationship Management, Merchant Sales & Acquisition, Client Support, and Visa Consulting & Analytics to develop overarching strategies across commercial related products and its clients
Collect and organize market intelligence and client specific feedback from financial institutions / fintech’s and businesses to contribute to the strategic roadmap for prioritization
Leverage appropriate Visa assets and resources to provide an exceptional implementation & integration experience to clients.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Qualifications:
• Experience on business requirement gathering and working with Tech team to develop project charter
• External Partner/Client facing experience
• Knowledge in the Commercial Cards/Cash Management/Payments space
• Business degree, preferably Masters Degree
• Minimum 10 years of work experience
• Good knowledge of product management and development, data driven insights and finance
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking for driving the result and for sorting out complicated matters
• Ability to manage tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional and cross regional teams
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organization

• Native level Japanese and business level English
