We lead a 2-week job training program called Bridges to Green Jobs inBoston that focuses on getting underrepresented people into the cleanenergy industry through weatherization technician entry-level positions.We\'ve ran 4 cohorts in Boston since 2022 and have noticed a growingneed for continued peer and guiding support early in their employment,as well as ways to proactively identify job retention barriers. We haveour first cohort in Lawrence early in 2024 and are seeking someone whocan fill this role. We are seeking licensed Social Worker orTherapist/Mental Health Counselor in the Greater Lawrence area who isknowledgeable about different community resources who could use thisexpertise to lead virtual weekly groups for Bridges to Green Jobsprogram graduates and help navigate a new industry (debrief about theirnew job experiences, managers, successes, areas of opportunity, identifyrisks) but also approach folks individually as needed and refer them tothe appropriate resources (e.g. mental health support, housing, orothers). This person would stay with the graduates for approximately 4-6weeks after they graduate from the two-week program, running virtualgroups once a week for one hour, and then anticipating some one-on-onecalls as relationships are built with the graduates. Compensation startsat \$100/hr but if rates are higher, it is negotiable. The next cohortstarts on February 20th and runs until March 1st, 2024 Total amount ofhours will be between 40-50 over \8 weeks. Structure is like so:Approximately 2 hours of pre-program planning calls with program teamApproximately 10 hours over the course of 2 weeks to meet theparticipants during training, speak to them individually to assess needsand potential barriers to job placement/retention Approximately 30 hoursover the course of 6 weeks post-program for virtual group calls and 1:1sessions as needed/requested by participants + documentation, referralsas needed, etc. Approximately 2 hours of post-program debrief calls withfull team (feedback, outcomes, etc.) Bilingual (Spanish) is a hugebonus, but not required. Must have experience with counseling/casemanagement for diverse clients in Greater Lawrence (especially Latinxresidents) and have expansive community resources to refer participantsto.
