The Auto Network Repair Claim Representative shall join a dynamic team that is accountable for the timely review of assigned auto damage appraisals for repair and/or body shops to ensure adherence to claim standards. They will help support the most economical means of repair or replacement services to the customers. As a key component of the role, our selected candidate shall virtually manage 35-50 repair shops which includes providing estimate oversight, regular shop data and be available for inquiries as needed from the associated repair shops to ensure our customer service standards. This position requires the flexibility to travel when required to support ad hoc catastrophe claim circumstances. Additional key responsibilities of the position include:
Oversight of accurate and timely completion of assigned damage appraisalsManagement of 35-50 direct repair (DRP) facilities within your assigned territory to ensure quality standards, appropriate training and customer service requirements are maintainedTriage and utilize multiple estimating channel options quickly and efficientlyProvide re-inspection of repaired vehicles and the assessment of repair costProperly assess the indemnity and expense exposuresProvide outstanding customer service consistent with The Hartford's service delivery standardsEngage in a positive team environment focused on continuous learning and developmentOperate with integrity at all times to allow for trusted credible client interactions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years auto damage/body shop estimating (auditing & writing) experience which includes comprehensive knowledge of automobile repair techniques and general automobile industry familiarity Insurance Carrier experience is a plusBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office tools and estimating tools (i.e. Mitchell, CCS or Audit Tech)Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive business relationshipsSelf-motivated and able to keep on task with minimal direct supervisionFlexibility to travel as needed to support catastrophe events ad hocUnderstanding of cycle time analysisBasic skills and understanding of data analysis

Strong preference will be given to candidates located in the mountain, pacific or central time zonesThe position shall require core working hours aligned to the mountain time zone of the United StatesThis role can have a hybrid or remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Hartford, CT, San Antonio, TX, Lake Mary, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Aurora, IL, New York, NY and Danbury, CT) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.) Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
