POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position reports to the Club Lounge Manager. The VIP Lounge Ambassador ensures that every guest in the VIP Club Lounge of Hotel Bennett is greeted and served with warmth, sincerity, and genuine southern hospitality. Duties include but are not limited to: serving alcohol, cleaning dishes, meeting and greeting every guest, preparing food displays, maintaining supplies, inventory, polishing and cleaning silver and glassware. Most importantly, the club attendant is responsible for creating a welcoming environment in the VIP Club Lounge. He or she will always exhibit a great personality with an engaging smile, demonstrate a strong attention for detail, and uphold a high level of standards in order to create an incredible experience for each guest.

Communicate guest needs and preferences within the department to ensure that each guest has the most personalized experience possibleCreate a welcoming lounge environment for all who enter the VIP Club LoungeMaintain order of all food and beverage in the VIP Club LoungeMaintain cleanliness of the VIP Club Lounge at all timesService all food and beverage needs of guests with gracious and sincere southern hospitalityMaintain lounge inventory including food, alcohol, soft drinks, silverware, glassware, china, linens, serving pieces, and buffet presentation piecesAbility to multitask
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Ability to communicate with proper verbiage in spoken EnglishAt least one year prior serving or assistant serving experienceBar knowledge with experience serving liquor, beer, and wineExcellent organization skillsProfessional and cooperative demeanorPositive and energetic attitudePrevious bartending experience preferred
