Client is looking for a Video & Collaboration Administrator to help support their global Video Conferencing and Collaboration environment. Client is standardizing on Cisco and Microsoft for their video and collaboration environment and needs resources who possess strong problem solving skills, analytical mindset and desire for continuous learning. Ideal candidates will have prior experience providing L1/L2 troubleshooting support in an enterprise environment. Candidates who have strong technical support and troubleshooting experience in helpdesk or desktop support roles are preferred. Prior experience working with end users of all levels and background in customer support / service roles is required, but specific experience providing white glove support for executives or VP's is highly preferred. Candidates will be trained on Abbott's Collaboration tools and have responsibilities for managing set up and support of audio/visual/control solution for meetings and events. Prior experience supporting conference room technology and ability to troubleshoot user issues in support of conferencing meetings is a plus, but not required. Additionally, experience using collaboration tools, such as, MS Teams and Cisco WebEx is highly desired. This is a long term position. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a desire to continue their professional investment through self-education and drive. This role will be actively involved in supporting Abbott Cisco Unified Communications Platform, including Video Conferencing, Cisco WebEx, and Microsoft Teams. In addition to performing day-to-day operations support, this role will work closely with Sr. UC Engineers to help with the implementation of new project work. Potential projects include: Video Conferencing upgrades in conference rooms, telepresence video wall implementation in board room and standardization on Cisco UC suite. Strong customer service and communication is needed as this role may have the potential to work with C-Level executives when dealing with Telepresence issues.
