RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run and customize models, quantitative analytic processes or systems approaches.
Monitor, report and improve existing models performance.
Perform modelling implementation including coding, QA and back testing.
Cooperate with the team on scenario generation processes by following rigorous operational procedures, checking and quality control of the generated results.
Create documentation for all activities and work with Technology staff to design systems for running the models developed.
Conduct quantitative analytics and modeling projects.
Develop new models, analytic processes or systems approaches.
Analyze and assess large, complex financial dataset with analytical tools such as Python, SQL and R.
Perform data preprocessing steps such as data cleaning, editing and reduction for the model input to a scenario generation system to meet various internal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct timeseries modeling to facilitate research on term-structure models beyond short-rate ones.
Assess object-oriented programming using Python for methodology implementation and various adhoc exploratory works including curve fitting, statistical modeling, and Monte-Carlo simulation.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Statistics or related; and
3 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation.
Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
Analyzing and assessing large, complex financial dataset with analytical tools such as Python, SQL and R;
Performing data preprocessing steps such as data cleaning, editing and reduction for the model input to a scenario generation system to meet various internal and regulatory requirements;
Conducting time-series modeling to facilitate research on term-structure models beyond short-rate ones; and,
