About the Opportunity:
As Vice President, People & Culture (P&C) you will partner with the senior leadership team across Studio Operations, Tours, Retail and Global Content Operations using your expertise and commercial understanding to provide positive change and advice on the organisation and people priorities, working closely with the EVP to embed the Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) one team culture and Guiding Principles.
In addition to supporting the senior leadership team, the role will also have responsibility for leading a diverse P&C team across several markets globally.
As a member of the P&C Leadership team, you will participate in global projects, drive important initiatives, collaborate with colleagues and share successes and challenges across your businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the leadership team to continuously review people and the organisation structure to ensure it is fit to deliver commercial success in the future
Partner with leadership team to create and implement business strategy for sustainability, growth and clarity
Act as one team; proactively and positively support initiatives and organization changes to align with the wider WBD business, M&A related change projects and other organisational change, and to align with your peers on the P&C leadership team
Design and implement a P&C strategy for your team and to align with the broader strategies of both the wider P&C function and of the businesses you support
Be a trusted and strategic partner to the senior leadership team and act as an active and influential member of that team
Create what’s next; role model a continuous journey of self-development - ask questions, network externally and with WBD colleagues to ensure you have the best understanding of the future business priorities, talent, organisation and roles
Leadership; mentor, develop and coach your P&C team
Actively work as a Partner with the Specialist P&C teams (COEs) to provide seamless, strategic and timely support for the business
Champion inclusion; proactively build a rich and diverse organisation, through all layers
Build a rich and diverse leadership talent pipeline to fill the succession plans for leadership and critical roles - through effective conversations both externally and internally to source and recruit great talent
Know our Top Talent across the markets. Facilitate calibration sessions, conversations, development opportunities and retention strategies for our Talent on an ongoing basis. Challenge assumptions and routine approaches to ensure a robust, diverse and inclusive pipeline of Talent
Proactively implement principles that ensure implementation of inclusive, fair and equitable processes for recruitment and in-role promotions
Lead or partner (as applicable) on P&C related projects and support the rollout of annual global P&C initiatives
Support a culture of ongoing honest and open feedback
Dream It & Own It; be the P&C Partner on new and innovative business projects and lead on organisation and people focused priorities. Liaise with specialist functions (Reward, Legal etc) as needed
Communicate within your team, to the broader P&C team and within your businesses openly, honestly and often and encourage feedback
Instill a culture of trust, assume positive intent and actively find and celebrate the joy in our work
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience managing global teams and supporting a high volume, complex workforce
Relationship building and influencing skills
Organisation Design and Change Management skills
Courage - willing to uphold the values of ethics, integrity, inclusiveness, and fairness
Commercial - curious about the business and actively influences and contribute to discussions
Willing to challenge and debate issues that matter
Clear thinking - willing to make sound and prompt decisions

Role model WBD values
Deep knowledge of employment practices and legislation for the countries supported
Experience in managing labour relations, unions and works council where applicable
Ability to lead and inspire diverse teams in multiple locations
Collaborative – this role will work closely with core P&C peers globally as well as in partnership with the COE teams (Talent Acquisition, Executive Search, Learning & Development, Operations, Compensation & Benefits, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion).
