Your Team
The Identity Governance Team is a diverse group working on multiple areas in the world of identity and access management, cloud computing, software engineering, and general layered security in an enterprise. The projects range from building foundational joiner-mover-leaver processes to delivering advance controls like desktop administration policy management, session monitoring, and other related privileged access management capabilities.
The Identity Governance and Access Management Product Owner will manage the design, development and operations of the company identity solutions, and will work closely with the Information Security Office and Architecture teams on the overall architecture and strategy decisions to align with corporate policy and industry best practices. You will define a roadmap for a product or suite of related products collaborating with business functions, service teams and technology teams, identifying business outcomes and solutions that deliver on the product strategy to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! As an expert in all facets of identity and access management, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Create, own, and drive an ongoing, end-to-end product roadmap by working with business areas to identify, sequence, and prioritize enhancement requests for Prudential workforce globallyEnsure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with own visionEnsure customer-driven design by coordinating, planning and leading UAT sessions for business stakeholdersCommunicate frequently with stakeholders to ensure engagement and buy-in on decisions and proposed solutionsDrive program increment plans across the team(s) and plan for future program increments; ensuring alignment with the journeyCo-design with Tech lead to build a modular & reusable solutionAnticipate and drive continuous exploration to create the backlog, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized. Lead discussions and decisions around technology options, support building product teams for execution and have responsibility for the product backlog.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is required.Deep knowledge of IAM: Account Management Lifecycle, Asset Management Lifecycle, Provisioning and De-provisioning, Multifactor Authentication, Activity Logging and MonitoringSolid knowledge of industry trends, user demands, and pain points to be able to create a high value product visionLead and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organizationExpert knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's businessAbility to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challengesExcellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills; enjoy learning new skillsExpertise with several of the following:Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Decision-Making & Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.Financial/Business Acumen: Strong Knowledge of financial and/or business concepts, tools and processes and how financial metrics are used to monitor and drive outcomes. A history of embracing and incubating emerging technology and open source products10 years of experience managing projects through the full development lifecycleSuccessful background in running/operations for large scale IAM infrastructure.Experience in project management and the ability to communicate security technology issues verbally on both a formal and informal basis to all levels of client staff.10 years of experience in developing, implementing, or running IAM solutions.Identity Management experience in all the following areas:Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor AuthenticationIdentity Governance and Administration, User Provisioning, Access Certification, Identity Analytics, Role-Based Access ControlPrivileged Access Management

The salary range for this role is from $218,000.00 to $295,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
