Job Description The VP role is accountable for leading several of Visa’s strategic partnerships with the Group Service Providers most prevalent within the Community Financial Institution space. The individual in this role will work with key stakeholders in the Visa organization including but not limited to the SVP of Community Accounts, regional leaders, product management, Visa Consulting & Analytics, sales enablement, and training to deliver the best of Visa through our GSP partnerships. This involves creation and execution of opportunities to drive net new growth and working with the sales leadership team to grow our existing portfolio through our partnership with the Group Service Providers. This role requires the ability to clearly articulate Visa value proposition to varied audiences while managing multiple sets of priorities across and outside of the Visa organization. Another key accountability will be to set up a distribution channel and reseller sales model across all GSP organizations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales and business development leader with a background working with Group Service Providers and Financial Institutions and has experience working consulting firms. The candidate must have broad knowledge of the payments ecosystem and maintain executive-level relationships with our Group Service Providers and internal Visa stakeholders.

Accountabilities
Identify strategic opportunities through Group Service Provider engagement. Develop a strong understanding of each partner and their customer's business needs to deliver value to our partners and their clients / members.Be the face of Visa to our Group Service Providers, drive thought leadership and vision in the market.Continuously review market and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and strategies that will position Visa as the market leader to our Group Service Providers.Build out a distribution channel and reseller sales model with a strong focus on execution. deliverables, and performance tracking. Proven record of exceeding goals.Identify strategic innovation and development opportunities through a strong understanding of the Group Service Provider’s business.Influence the client’s vision for the future of electronic payments, consistent with Visa’s strategies.Continuously review client strategies and market landscapes to recommend, develop, and implement new & creative approaches that ensures that our Group Service Provider’s clients and Visa business objectives are met.Reseller sales Liaison: Align priorities across Visa’s Group Service Provider Sales team and GSP’s in-market sales teams to ensure products and services are being sold to end clients.Provides leadership to the Community sales organization, and counsel to the regional sales leaders, in best practices and escalation point for consulting firms.Develop and execute customized account plans for key consulting firms.Create and expand existing relationship/partnerships through monthly and quarterly business reviews and meetings with key consulting firms, providing thought leadership and education.Monitor and track deal metrics for consultant deals, identifying key insights and opportunities for improvement. This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD)
• Understanding of payment networks.
• Background working with Group Service Providers and Financial Institutions.
• Experienced solution sales leader with a record of accomplishment for delivering results, must possess the ability to identify the inspired path forward to a successful partnership.
• Experience in managing relationships and cultivating deep, trusted partnerships with partners and Visa stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex business concepts to broad audiences in an engaging way.
• Natural collaborator with excellent communication skills. Must be self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and competence to influence across multiple levels and organizations including internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and group presentation skills. Executive presence, and comfortable presenting to C-suite executives.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to challenge the status quo and identify new opportunities to innovate and differentiate.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 183,300 to 252,000 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
