As the global leader of data technology across Genmab, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's data-driven strategy, building and maintaining data infrastructure, analytics, and services that support all aspects of the organization. You will be a key driver of Genmab's Digital Transformation journey, harnessing the potential of Generative AI and large language models to accelerate discovery, development, and commercialization of novel therapies. You will also ensure that data is FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) across Genmab, maximizing its use and value for scientific and business purposes.

This person will be based out of Princeton, NJ and will be onsite 60% of the time.
Reporting Structure
The Vice President of Global Data and Analytics at Genmab will report directly to the SVP and Global Head of Information Technology & Digital, playing a strategic role in the IT & Digital Leadership Team and joining the CEO's Global Leadership Team.
Primary Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role will be, but not limited to:
Lead the development of Data strategies leveraging insights from our business, solution providers and IT&D colleagues
Create and maintain robust data pipelines in tight collaboration with business, vendors (API access, automation and triggers)
Enable data pedigree and tagging from creation to destruction to adhere to regulations and provide competitive advantage
Be a subject matter expert and thought leader both internally and externally on breakthrough data technologies and their application within Genmab and across the industry
Be an educator to IT&D and the business on the "Art of the possible" with Data solutions and services, to expand the organizations thinking and build upon a "Digital Mindset" for Genmab
Align Data platforms and services with business and Enterprise IT strategies.
Ensure solutions are market ready and can be applied to solve current and future opportunities (security, speed, durability, and quality by design)
Maintain a deep understanding of the Data marketplace, inside and outside life science, with an eye toward potential new opportunities leveraging POCs to prove technical capability and business value
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders across our global Genmab functions as a trusted leader
Provide strategic leadership for the Data & Analytics team
Build and transform a high performing, hands-on technical organization in a high growth and agile Biotech
Build and maintain robust data pipelines in tight collaboration with lines of business and partners and ensure "Rock Solid" data operations

Job Requirements
Education
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in science or engineering, master's level degree preferred.
Experience
10 or more years leading Data and Analytics organization in high growth businesses.
5 or more years experience in Biotech/Pharma/Medical Device or similar experience preferred within life sciences
Strong business acumen with an understanding of business drivers and of how to drive value using data across the organization.
Demonstrated experience in developing strong business relationships and trust with senior business leaders across different functions at the VP/SVP level.
Executive leadership experience, including developing and delivering strategic plans to Executive and Board level colleagues.
Experience in leading a large transformational program
In depth data experience, demonstrated through programs, professional affiliations, public presentations, and/or executive certifications/training
Experience leading global teams of both colleagues and contractors
