The Role
In this critical senior Finance leadership role in Lumen, you will support Lumen’s Growth objectives supporting the Enterprise Operations organization. You will be a strategic partner to our Business Leadership team and accountable for achieving our shared objectives.
As a well-rounded finance leader, you will be experienced in delivering sustainable growth by being a commercially astute strategic business partner engaging and influencing at all levels while executing on key results.

Responsibilities would include evolving and building a diverse team while driving business and financial performance, assessment and monitoring of key initiatives, budgeting, consolidation, and complex business case development. The foundational elements of the role are ensuring strategic & financial planning, decision support, transforming financial management processes, and financial integrity. The main goal is to create value by collaborating with the business, providing strategic financial guidance and analysis and improving performance through a thorough evaluation of strategies and results.
The Main Responsibilities
· Advise business leadership on interpreting results and trends and providing actionable insights
· Assists with recommendations of action plans where required to drive budget accountability and rigor. Develops key business indicators and other quantifiable measurement tools to track results of business activities.
· Lead investment decision making for Enterprise Operations, balancing risk to ensure return on investment while achieving growth objectives. Drive business case and business plan performance.
· Appraises operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and recommendation of general operating effectiveness, acting as a trusted advisor to the management team.
· Manages reporting activities for the Senior Leadership Team with focus on highlighting actionable insights to drive business outcomes. Responsible for forecasting/budgeting, including scenario planning for Enterprise Operations.
· Recommends allocation of resources to support the company’s financial goals, influence with key stakeholders key to drive success here.
· Lead allocation and approval process of capital spend and focus on ensuring programs and investments drive expected return on invested capital.
· Develop Team to be change agents and driving impact across the organization that aligns to Lumen’s culture and core beliefs
What We Look For in a Candidate
· 15+ years relevant experience in the telecom or technology sector and minimum 5 years management experience in a global matrixed organization
· Proven experience in scaling organizations, driving change and transformation while supporting growing teams within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$176,400 - $220,500 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY
$185,220 - $231,525 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$194,040 - $242,550 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
