  Role Overview

Do you have a proven track record of delivering and scaling Software-as-a-Service products that solve real pain points as well as offer competitive differentiation? Have you led high performing geographically dispersed and cross functional teams? If so, come join our team within Mastercard Commercial Solutions to help shape the future of our digital products!

  This role is focused on delivering robust API products & solutions for our customers. Our customers include Issuers, Corporates, FinTechs, and Platforms serving buyers & suppliers in the B2B and T&E space. You will be tasked with delivering an outstanding experience for customers who want to enable innovative financial services within their own products.

  Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders to define a multi-year global product strategy anchored on value creation for priority segments and customers.

  • Create a well-defined roadmap to build and enhance an API platform that provides access to relevant B2B payment and value-added services/ assets.

  • Lead a team of product managers to execute the roadmap. Oversee end-to-end product and platform requirements incl. testing and operations; establish processes and procedures that enable team members to deliver at high quality and speed.

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with Engineering, Operations and Delivery partners, fostering a 'one team' mindset; collectively commit to milestones and outcomes, effectively manage key dependencies and risks.

  • Collaborate with regional leads to define GTM strategies and execution plans.

  • Define tangible and measurable KPIs, paying great attention to various facets of the customer experience e.g. ease of implementation, time to mitigate issues, performance, resiliency, availability and security.

  • Collaborate with product marketing and design teams to create high quality, compelling product & sales material incl. interactive demos.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape- traditional and nontraditional/ emerging players.

  • Understand regulations and localization needs impacting our business, establish foundational global implementations.

  All about you

  • Extensive experience in API/ SaaS products with a strong understanding of customer needs and technology trends

  • Significant background in payments and financial services, specific experience in B2B embedded finance and BaaS offerings, and strong familiarity in provider landscape highly preferred

  • Solid understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of the payments ecosystem, different entities & roles, and complexities in the B2B arena

  • Prove track record of hiring and retaining high performing teams; naturally able to motivate and mentor cross functional team members in a matrix environment

  • Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset

  • Strong relationship building skills and highly collaborative; excellent listening skills and facilitating & guiding senior executives/colleagues

  • Intellectually curious, manage multiple priorities in time sensitive and challenging/dynamic environments

  • Highly analytical, able to solve complex and at times ambiguous problems

  • Strong oral and written communicator, able to communicate vision, thoughts, ideas, and solutions to different audiences

  In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.   New York City, New York: $233,000 - $372,000 USD

  Arlington, Virginia: $223,000 - $357,000 USD

  Atlanta, Georgia: $194,000 - $310,000 USD

  O'Fallon, Missouri: $194,000 - $310,000 USD

  Purchase, New York: $223,000 - $357,000 USD
