Prudentials Group Insurance business manufactures and distributes a full range of group life, long-term and short-term group disability, supplemental health and group corporate, bank and trust owned life insurance in the U.S., primarily to institutional clients for use in connection with employee and membership benefits plans. Group Insurance also sells accidental death and dismemberment and other ancillary coverages and provides plan administrative services in connection with its insurance coverages. The Group Insurance business is undergoing a transformation which includes expanding product offerings and driving sustainable, profitable growth.
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to become part of the Group Insurance Operations organization leadership team as the Client Data Lead. This role will report to the Head of Group Insurance Operations and will establish a strategic roadmap and vision for Group Insurances Client Data organization, which includes the Client Data Management operation. This role will also define the strategic road map for data exchange, API and operations processes encompassing client data while collaborating closely with Group Insurance's business and technology partners. This role requires deep Group Insurance business acumen and a strong understanding of technology to enable data driven service experiences for our customers. Additionally, this individual will be expected to foster a culture and mindset where everyone feels ownership for the success of the business and creating a positive customer experience.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Own the end-to-end strategy for how Prudentials Group Insurance business ingests, uses, and optimizes client data with a focus on continuous improvement to enhance and streamline this vital component of Operations.
Own the client data management element of the New Business and Onboarding process.
Account for client data connectivity success inclusive of performance metrics, client and employee experience, and performance guarantees.
Partner closely with Technology, Distribution, Product, and other functions within the Operations organizations within Group Insurance to ensure client data is exchanged in modern formats that creates proficient service experiences.
Manage relationship and execution with strategic vendor partnerships that perform work activities on Prudentials behalf in the space of API connections and data exchange.
Lead the development and implementation of appropriate business procedures for the Client Data organization, inclusive of API development, designs the appropriate organizational structure and staffing models, and ensures that organizational structure and processes are properly aligned with business goals.
Oversee a team of direct and indirect reports to ensure all aspects of technology enablement for client data and utilization to deliver an exceptional customer and employee experience.
What youll need:
Firm knowledge of Prudentials Group products, services, and systems.
Demonstrated expert in the space of client data, data exchange methods, key external partners in the data space and AGILE methodology for delivery of capabilities.
Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of transforming processes and experiences, and a passionate and demonstrated talent mindset.
Adept at articulating a vision, providing associates with a sense of purpose, and driving an energetic organizational climate.
Ability to consult and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to solve complex problems and improve quality and service
Strong communication skills including the ability to interface, influence and collaborate with senior leaders across the enterprise. Able to work across businesses to gain buy-in and build partnerships to achieve objectives.
Innovative problem solving and strategic thinking skills, along with strong business and operational acumen and analytical capabilities. Proven success in process excellence, continuous improvement, and project management.
Ability to identify and create solutions that are focused on the customer experience with the ability to think, analyze and design outside in
Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and balancing competing priorities
Demonstrated success leading multiple teams responsible for Group Insurance Operations experience preferred.
