You’ve worked hard for your credentialing, and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
Triaging, prioritizing and stabilization of emergency cases
Alerts veterinarian to changes in patients’ condition.
Knowledge of basic emergency care and CPR procedures
Obtaining accurate medical history
Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
Restraint
Skilled in multiple types of venipunctures and IV catheter placement
Drug Calculations
Anesthesia induction and monitoring
Digital radiography
Must be: Proficient in electronic medical records – Woofware preferred; computer skills; typing
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented, reliable and team-player.

VCA Animal Hospital offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance. 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, and health and well-being programs that provide resources and training. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour.
