VCA Ponti Animal Hospital in Otis Orchards, Washington is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join their small animal, exotic, and wildlife practice !

　　Responsibilities of our Veterinary Assistants:

　　Our Veterinary Assistants provide compassionate veterinary care to our patients. We provide a progressive learning environment to guide your career path, and encourage Veterinary Assistants to utilize their skills to broaden their abilities.

　　Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.

　　Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.

　　Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.

　　Recognize subtle change in clinical status.

　　Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.

　　Complete estimates, basic record keeping.

　　Surgical preparation and assisting.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　6+ months of clinical experience as a Veterinary Assistant

　　Passion for Veterinary Medicine

　　Schedule: Full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling. We utilize a 4 x 10 hour work week.

　　Compensation:

　　The pay range for this position is $16 - 18/ hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
