Key Responsibilities
Manages the procurement and sourcing policies and activities includingoverseeing specific contracts.
Expands Casellas network of vendors and conduct research to determinewho offers the best prices and services.
Negotiates with suppliers and vendors to secure contracts for servicesat fair prices while meeting compliance and regulatory standards.
Maintains relationships with suppliers and purchasing departments tocreate plans to direct future activities and enable new serviceofferings.
Manages company relationships with vendors, making sure contract termsare fulfilled and service risks are mitigated.
Hires, trains, and manages research and compliance staff of the sourcingteam.
Coordinates utilization of all vendors to develop efficient supply chainstrategies.
Manages and provides leadership to team members by effectivelycommunicating, establishing clear goals and objectives, coaching teammembers on achieving goals, and ensuring access to training anddevelopment opportunities that assist employees in attaining thenecessary skills to achieve team and corporate results.
Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expandknowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs anyother duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission,and/or abide by our core values.
Ensures compliance with all company, state, and federal policies,regulations, and laws regarding employment and employee safety.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a bachelors degree in business or arelated field, 5-7 years of customer service experience, a demonstratedability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment and belegally eligible to work in the US. Relevant sales certifications andexperience or interest in an environmental and/or sustainability fieldare preferred.
Outstanding relationship management skills, excellent listening,communication, and problem-solving skills and an ability to developsales opportunities are required. Demonstrated proficiency withMicrosoft Office applications and a working knowledge of MicrosoftDynamic CRM or similar software systems and related software areexpected.
