Responsibilities Write user-friendly content across multiple platforms and touchpoints that aligns with the client's brand, values, and tone and meets business goals and industry best practices Evaluate new and existing content against accessibility and SEO best practices to ensure copy is optimized and inclusive Create copy guidelines that support the broader content strategy and user experience goals Collaborate with a cross-functional project team to create narratives and copy for journey maps, landing pages, products, applications, and more across web and mobile Supporting user research and analysis and understanding the needs and pain points of users, as well as their expectations for the product or service. This can be done through a variety of methods, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing. The goal of this activity is to get a deep understanding of the users so that the UX writer can create content that meets their needs Writing clear, concise, and user-friendly copy, from button labels and error messages to help text and marketing materials. The copy should be easy to understand and use, and it should be consistent with the overall tone and style of the product or service Working with designers and developers to ensure that the copy is integrated seamlessly into the product collaborating to ensure that the copy is aligned with the visual design and that it is implemented in a way that is easy to use. The UX writer may also need to make changes to the copy based on feedback from the designers and developers Testing and iterating on the copy to ensure that it is effective and meets the needs of users to get feedback on its clarity, usability, and overall effectiveness.
