The Physical Therapist 2 provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. The Physical Therapist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
*** This position requires residence in the state of Oklahoma.
The Physical Therapist 2 will review authorization requests received from providers or a customer service queue and gather information, review, approve or collaborate with a Medical Director for additional clinical review as appropriate.Educates providers on utilization and medical management processes.Enters and maintains pertinent clinical information in the medical management systems.Sensitivity to cultural diversity and to making accommodate available to provide services to a diverse population.

Workstyle: Remote Oklahoma/Work at Home
Location: Oklahoma
Training Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central
Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central with rotating holidays and weekends
Flexibility to accommodate Eastern Time Schedule to meet business needs
Travel: Periodic travel to Humana Oklahoma City office for meetings and training
