The Experience Design team is responsible for designing innovative, best-in-class solutions across mobile, web and desktop platforms. We are a multi-disciplinary group of product designers, content strategists, researchers and design operations specialists that collaborate with business and technology partners across the enterprise to build exceptional digital experiences for millions of passionate clients. We are seeking a seasoned Director of Design Operations who will be responsible for the end-to-end client operations for the Experience Design (XD) organization. The Director of Design Operations will collaborate with internal product and technology partners to establish and govern an end-to-end operating model to increase productivity and efficiency at scale. Additionally, this leader will work with leadership to establish OKR’s and KPI’s to measure the success of the XD organization.
In this role, you’ll manage the XD portfolio, facilitate prioritization conversations and lead resource and capacity planning. You’ll also collaborate with leaders of other XD, Product, and Engineering teams to establish ceremonies to showcase the work to establish better communication and transparency across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the prioritization and execution of the XD portfolio of work.
Lead a cross-functional team of design operations specialists.
Develop, monitor and maintain a scalable operating model for XD.
Manage department communications and reporting for XD.
Develop training and curriculum for XD.
Manage contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships for XD tools and services.
What you have

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of experience in project and program management.
8+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary design ops functions.
5+ years of work experience working with executive leaders.
Experience as a People Leader.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Expert knowledge of Experience Design organizations and how they work most effectively with product and technology organizations.
Expert knowledge of various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc).
Strong ability to navigate complex organizations and facilitate productive and action-oriented ceremonies.
Expert communicator, both written and orally, throughout all levels the organization.
Ability to create a safe and engaging environment to get the most out of the team and have fun along the way.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
