Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Maintains relationships and supports internal stakeholders by identifying improvement opportunities and recommending enhancing the performance of assets; improving the building and refrigeration system's efficiency, performance, and life; and facilitating corrective action plans. Manages department budget by gathering and trending data; validating spending related to materials and labor; reviewing facility-related invoicing by set procedures; developing reports; approving expenditures at set spending limit; managing warranty reimbursement; and ensuring land-lord compliance with lease agreements.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, KPI's, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

You'll make an impact by...
Ensuring financial sustainability and cost optimization for stores by developing, presenting, approving, and managing budgets up to authorization spend for capital and operational expenses; prioritizing spend in collaboration with operations; approving and negotiating contracts, proposals, invoices, and expenses; determining and proposing people resource requirements based on workload, cost, and company growth; analyzing vendor cost discrepancies and fraud; and assisting in preparing reports to summarize information for business analysis and decision making (for example, expense accruals, outstanding invoices).
Maintaining building and property appearance and structural functionality for store and tenant properties with minimal business disruption by maintains high quality customer service; ensuring Managers and Coordinators respond to requests for repair; overseeing the assessment of time critical and high-profile projects; performing root cause analysis and determining and implementing solutions; coordinating design flaw issues with Realty teams; attending meetings with key stakeholders (for example, Operations, Market Managers, and Regulatory Authorities); conducting Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) on spend analysis; and reviewing overall performance for improvement opportunities.
Overseeing compliance with federal, state, and local heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry laws, regulations and/or guidelines (for example, building codes) by implementing maintenance policies and procedures; conducting Facility inspections; managing risk with removal of ozone-depleting refrigerants; ensuring Facilities, processes, and procedures are in compliance with same; and overseeing HVAC/R regional programs.
Driving vendor performance by optimizing vendor base; building strong working relationships with vendors; creating vendor key performance indicators and quality standards; analyzing and reporting on vendor performance and quality; and ensuring vendor compliance with service level agreements and regulatory compliance.
Collaborating closely with the company's Emergency Operations Center during times of crisis or natural disaster by participating in and leading a multi-functional team utilizing various reporting mechanisms and communication with third party vendors until resolution.
Minimum Qualifications...
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 4 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 6 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering,
or related area 2 years of which are in supervisory experience.

Building controls automation software, creating budgets, and managing profit and loss statements, Retail Operations Management, Supervisory
Master's degree in architecture, Master's: business administration, Master's: computer engineering, Master's: construction management
