This Senior Manager of Information Technology Audit (Level 180-G) will report to the Director of Global IT Audit. You will partner with multiple business leaders across our IT platforms, providing valuable insights to ensure the success of our many businesses across the enterprise. The Senior Manager executes technology-focused audit engagements that assess the risk within the implementation, operations, security, design and resiliency of the technology architecture and applications that support Walmart's Omni-focused retail business. You'll serve as the project lead for technology-focused engagements, manage a team of staff and senior auditors for technical testing execution and ensure management action plans for identified technology issues are committed and validated for risk remediation.
How you'll make an impact:
Support the IT Audit Team on multiple audits throughout the yearHelp develop Information Systems Audit Plans for IT architecture across application data, server, network and physical layers by evaluating diagrams and system flowsPerform Controls Testing of layers of computer systems to determine risk and operational impact by collaborating with application and system owners while identifying and documenting IT control pointsLead governance of the computer information systems project portfolio by heading technical audits and presenting technical audit findings to Global Technology partners, Internal Audit leadership and the Audit CommitteeRepresent Walmart in Technology Risk Summits and Industry Events to stay current on advancements in the industry by researching and engaging outside vendors to explore and provide advanced solutions in technology riskUse New Data Analytics Tools such as AI/ML and Generative AI to enhance technology audit efficiency and improve the Omni retail customer experienceReview Staff Documentation for Completeness and Accuracy of Plan Execution by coordinating with suppliers and other departmentsBecome a Trusted Advisor by developing relationships with other teams. Be a go-to resource across the organization to solve issues
What you'll bring:
You have 6+ years' experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk Management, IT Controls Testing or Governance preferably with a large corporation or management consulting firm. CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CFE Certifications.You have considerable experience with IT Infrastructure and Application Development risk and efficiencies to advise the IT Audit Team and partners.You create advances in the audit process by using data analytics and implementing automation.You think creatively and are comfortable challenging the status quo.You are at your best working in a team environment.
